Our Fitted Kitchen Buying Guide
Buying a kitchen today is easier than ever with so many ranges, kitchen styles and companies to choose from. Below we have outlined a brief kitchen buying guide to help you look at some of the more glaring points to consider when purchasing a new fitted kitchen.
1. See what your buying.
A fitted kitchen can cost as much as an expensive holiday or new car, because of the cost that can be involved make sure you see what you buying, look at the kitchen descriptions and brochures, if possible visit a show room.
KitchensForSale.com operates a strict viewing policy for clients; we don’t just turn up with fittings and fixtures. We provide full colour brochures and have access to online showrooms which allow you to view your kitchen design as a finished product.
2. Check out the kitchen services offered
One of the most important questions to ask any kitchen designer is the level of skill they hold not just in kitchen fitting but also structural alterations, when installing your new kitchen you might find structural work that needs doing to the floor for instance, make sure your kitchen fitters can cater for these unforeseen problems so your not left to have to get in other builders in.
3. Kitchen Finance & Deposit
When it comes to paying for your kitchen most kitchen designers can offer finance options to help with the cost, make sure you can afford the payments and pay attention to the interest charged, although most kitchen finance options available are good deals; be careful your not spending more than you have to. When it comes to the deposit of your new kitchen try not to pay more than a 25% deposit.
4. Never pay in full
Unless absolutely confident and sure of the company you are dealing with never pay the full amount up front, wait till you have received the goods and service prior to settling up.
5. Don’t sign until you’re sure
Sign on the dotted line only when you are absolutely sure you have selected the right kitchen, you are happy with the company you are dealing with.
